One of my favorite things to collect are vintage scarves. Not only are they just nice to look at, they’re one of the quickest and simplest ways to jazz up any outfit. Today, I’m going to show you a few of my favorite ways to wear these little beauties – they’re not just for your neck! In fact, vintage scarves can be found in so many different shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns, that the possibilities are practically endless! This first look is super easy to recreate and does a fantastic job of showing off the beautifully detailed border print on this 1970s square scarf. SimplyRead More →

Hello readers! First off, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Caylor, and I joined the Vintage Tex family in July! I’ve always had a passion for all things vintage and I went to school for fashion merchandising so this is honestly my dream job and I’ve been having a blast these past few months. If you’ve seen my Instagram (@caylortompkins) or my posts on the shop’s Instagram (@vintagetex), you’ve probably gathered by now that my favorite decade for fashion is the 1970s. Everything about it just speaks to my soul. That being said, upon seeing pieces inspired by this wonderful period in fashionRead More →

I’m Monica, the newest addition to the fabulous Vintage Tex team. Not to be confused with the great blogger before me (who is also named Monica, cool huh?). Unfortunately, I just had my last day at Vintage Tex. What a crazy summer it’s been!  I’m heading back to Trinity University for the fall of my junior year. Working at Vintage Tex this summer was such an incredible opportunity.  Vintage clothing is a passion of mine, and this job helped turn the spark into a bonfire! I’m unashamed to say I was probably our best customer this summer. Dresses, skirts, blouses, vests, jeans, shorts, purses, jewelry–none were safe from me. I give a lot of credit to Jen for this–she has a terrific eye for vintage, and she stocks her store very well! EveryRead More →
